Prerequisite: Optical instruments, low light night vision technology, infrared technology, laser technology; Applied Optics, Physical Optics, Optical Fiber Technology, and so on.  

Aims &Requirements:

This course is based on the combination of basic optics theory and practical application of military optics technology. It mainly deals with geometrical optics, wave optics, quantum optics, optoelectronics, spectroscopy, chromaticity and information optics.The main contents are set up according to the design, evaluation, manufacture.

Primary Coverage

Chapter 1: Focuses on the significance of the scientific research method,combines the guiding principles of some famous scientists, and puts forward the guiding principles and thinking skills for reference.

Chapter 2: Introduces the basic concepts, the theoretical system, the main research content and the design principles and methods of the photoelectric system.

Chpter 3: The basic theory of optical design is introduced, the composition and principle of several typical optical systems are given, and the two element optical technology is briefly introduced.

Chapter 4: Gives a more comprehensive introduction to the basic theory and application of infrared technology from 8 aspects.

Chapter 5: Makes a more comprehensive study of the laser technology and its applications from 5 aspects.

Chapter 6: Introduces the working principle, basic structure, performance evaluation and general application of the micro optical imaging device and system.

Chapter 7: Introduces the basic technology, the system structure, the working principle and the application of the optical fiber transmission system in the military.

Chapter 8: Introduces the connotation and characteristics of the image processing technology.

Chapter 9: Introduces the concept of photoelectric stabilization and tracking system, and introduces the principle, structure, composition and design criteria of the common mirror stability and the overall stability of the platform in the project.

Chapter 10: Has made a more comprehensive application and development of optoelectronic countermeasures from 4 aspects.

Chapter 11: Introduces the basic concepts of the inertial technology, the basic principles of the new photoelectric inertial devices and the strapdown inertial navigation, the basic concepts of the system, the solution technology and the combined navigation.

Chapter 12: Introduces the man-machine interface, information collection, information processing and information transmission involved in the manipulation technology of the photoelectric system.

Chapter 13: Introduces the basic theory of the study of the optical characteristics of the target and the calibration and calibration methods of the common target characteristic testing equipment, and also introduces the basic concepts of the simulation.

Chapter 14: Introduces the basic connotation of the optical metrology technology and the optical metrology of each branch.

Chapter 15: Introduces the detection technology of military photoelectric system from 5 aspects.
